I am a Solution Design Consultant at Sage and a technology leader with over a decade of experience delivering enterprise-scale solutions across financial services, payments, tax technology and insurance.

My career has evolved from hands-on software engineering and technical leadership towards solution design, architecture and strategic technology decision-making. I specialise in translating complex business, regulatory and technical requirements into scalable, resilient solutions that deliver meaningful customer and commercial value.

At Sage, I work at the intersection of technology, product and business needs, shaping solutions that balance customer requirements, platform capabilities and long-term architectural considerations. My interests include API ecosystems, accounting technology, AI enabled software and the transformation of financial platforms.

Previously, I held senior technical leadership roles at EY, Audatex (Solera) and VocaLink (a Mastercard company). As a Senior Manager and Tech Lead within EY's Tax Technology and Transformation practice, I led the integration of a digital tax platform with third-party computation engines and external regulatory systems. This work contributed to a 40% reduction in manual processing, faster client onboarding and enterprise-scale adoption.

My technical foundation includes Java, Spring Boot, microservices, cloud-native architecture and enterprise integration. I have designed and delivered mission-critical systems in highly regulated environments, combining engineering expertise with collaboration across product, design and commercial teams.

Alongside my technology career, I completed the AAT Level 2 Certificate in Accounting and am currently progressing through Level 3. Developing my formal accounting expertise enables me to connect solution architecture with financial processes, regulatory requirements and commercial decision-making.
